Passover Seder

Each year, New Hope Chapel hosts a Passover Seder, where all are welcome to join, as part of our spring Easter experience.

Our interactive Seder will allow you to participate in the celebration, interspersed with teaching about the origins and Jewish traditions of the festival. Gain an appreciation for the elaborate details and symbols of this important feast and how they point to Jesus as the Messiah and ultimate Passover Lamb.

Our Seder is family friendly and open to all ages as well as to the public.

Sometimes celebrated on Saturday or a weekday evening, sometimes on Sunday morning, we arrange tables of eight in the sanctuary to create family gatherings. Using a Haggadah booklet especially written for us by one of our New Hope Chapel Teaching Team, our gift to you will be recipes, a list of what’s need to prepare for your own Passover celebration at home, inclusion of the gospels, and more.

Everyone at the table has a part to read from the Haggadah booklet. We be sing, taste the items on the Seder plate, sip grape juice at four designated times and eating dinner too. The Seder lasts about 2 hours.
